Managing your classroom

Classroom Management.  This not only imply HOW you manage your classroom as the teacher but how you design your classroom.  It's important that the layout of your classroom reflects how you want your classroom to run.  If your design and furniture is messy and cluttered, your classroom is going to be chaotic and disorganized.  The toys need to be age appropriate, well-kept, and developmentally appropriate.  You should be able to walk into the room and quickly identify serveral centers where small groups of children can play.  There should be open space within each center without having large open spaces where children will be tempted to run around.
